I am a trained sharpener with over 12 years of experience sharpening. I use a whetstone bench wheel, Japanese stones, professional scissor sharpening machines, and high-end shaping grinders. I can repair broken tips, remove rust, and adjust/maintain tools.

Commercial Services: 

If you are interested in getting an estimate or scheduling on-site commercial kitchen knives to be sharpened on a regular basis, please reach out. I typically stay within central Vermont, but depending on location, would consider other locations. Travel fees may apply.

Group/Event Services:

Have Jan come sharpen for your group or community! Schedule a pop-up sharpening date for 3-4 hours max. Minimum sales requirement $250. This is easy if you have 3 or 4 people with full knife/tool sets, or 10 people with 3-4. Example: organize a sharpening event during a harvest party, community event, or for your customers/employees/members.

Corporate Services:

​How it works: Schedule a full-day on-site service that each employee is welcome to bring 3 knives (or scissor) at an average rate of $20-$25 per person. Negotiable based on staff numbers.
